MCFly 32- Coping with Copenhagen

Ed Miliband (patron saint of MCFly's blog when he's not busy as Secretary of State for Energy and Climate Change) is obviously underwhelmed with the civil society response to his request for a mass movement, so he has set up his own! You can sign up to www.edspledge.com.

Meanwhile, the G20 finance ministers met in London and didn't sort out the festering blister of adaptation funding ahead of the G20 in Pittsburgh on Sept 22nd. No change there then.

Manchester activists will be filmed going to Copenhagen- by their own side. More details on the blog and in the next issue of MCFly.

Crucially, Copenhagen is taking up too much space - both physical and mental - in what is supposed to be Manchester Climate Fortnightly. The solution? A website- www.copingwithcopenhagen.wordpress.com.
